The Private Chef Collective bridges the gap between exceptional culinary talent and the refined standards of private service. We train chefs to thrive in UHNW households, support their transition from restaurant environments into private roles, and help families find chefs who understand discretion, structure, and elevated daily living.
Founded by Tanika Tavares, a chef with extensive experience working in UHNW households around the world, the Collective is built on a deep, real-world understanding of the industry. Her career has shown that in private cheffing, cooking is often the easiest part, while emotional intelligence, boundaries, and the ability to navigate household dynamics are what truly define success.
Like many chefs entering this space, Tanika began without guidance, mentorship, or a clear framework. Through experience, observation, and trial and error, she developed a nuanced understanding of what it takes to succeed in this highly personalised field.
Today, she supports chefs stepping into the UHNW space, equipping them to confidently manage relationships, expectations, and the unique demands of private culinary work.
